How's that for a rhyming blog post title? This blog post takes us back to November 26, the date where for the first time ever, I attended two weddings in one day! Unfortunately, it meant we were only able to... Continue reading Two weddings, one day. And Malay-Chinese Takeaway. »
There's so much to love about Chinese wedding banquets - the extravagent sequence of dishes, the abundance of seafood, the overly loud bands and the absurd amount of hard liquor drunk! I have really fond childhood memories of attending weddings... Continue reading Chanthu & Jerome's Wedding »

The Bengali wedding consists of a series of sophisticated celebrations, including the bride's holud ceremony (sort of like the bridal shower), which I had attended 2 weeks ago. The wedding reception of course was even bigger and better. Over 200... Continue reading Nora and Yaz's Bangladesh-style wedding feast »
Nora's holud was held 2 weeks before the wedding ceremony (which was last night; watch this space!). It was my first sneak peak into the elaborate celebrations of the Bengali culture. I have put together this quick list of 4... Continue reading What to expect at a gaye holud (part of Bengali wedding celebrations) »
On Saturday 17th November, Zen's sister, Lily got married to Simon. What turned out to be a warm sunny day, commenced at 8am with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at both parents' residence... then we drove off to St Andrew's Anglican Church at Summer Hill where they were pronounced husband & wife. The big day ended at Maxims Reception at Bankstown... with live music and delectable food... it was a gorgeous evening indeed. Continue reading Simon & Lily's Wedding »
You know you've grown older when you attend the first wedding of your circle of friends... Continue reading Sarah & David's wedding »
