Top 100 Australian Food Twitterers You Should Follow

BROUGHT TO YOU BY

Top 50 Aussie Food Blogs

I first signed up to Twitter as I saw it as an opportunity to micro-blog and by doing so, provide a behind-the-scenes perspective of this blog. 'It would be great', I concurred. Readers who thought my few posts a week weren't enough would be able to follow what I was up to right that very moment, and I'd be able to interact with them and really get to know my audience.

Twitter has helped me do all of that and more.

I sometimes find myself laughing out loud at a tweet; I'm always alert about the latest food news and trends before it hits mainstream press and more importantly, I've met some amazing people via Twitter.

So, here's a list of the Top 100 (and beyond) Australian Food Twitterers to follow. Some tweet more regularly than others but they're all unique and fabulous in their own way.

The scores have been compiled based on Twitter Grader's algorithm which tries to measure the power, reach and authority of a Twitter account (i.e. their impact). For more information about how Twitter Grader works, click here.

The scores have been compiled based on Klout's algorithm which measures a Twitterer's influence and engagement (true reach, amplification probability and network) using over 35 variables. Click to read about how the Klout score works.

I've tried to include as many Australian foodies as possible but if I have left you out, or if you know of another Australian food Twitterer not on this list, then please let me know via Twitter or email.

Also please note that the following list of Twitterers don't have a Klout score for some reason: casa_e_cucina, afielke, MadameNhu, dying4desserts, nutroasters, OrgConnections, Brokenwood, pinosdolcevita, foodie_janesia, BoathouseSydney, UnearthedWines, DelissAustralia, baiatheitalian, AquaDiningJeff and theapalacemelb. I have already informed Klout and have been advised that these Twitterers have been added to the queue to be processed.

This page will be updated monthly and showcases movement in scores and ranks. Please don't use it as a resource to spam.

The Top 100 Australian Food Twitterers logo was adapted from a design on OurTuts.com.
