Some recent press mentions and a giveaway!

There are a few things which I think almost all bloggers love - comments and media mentions. So I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everybody who has taken the time to leave a comment on this blog over the last week, months and years. I always try to respond to most of them but if I don't, I promise I do read all of them and actually do respond in my head. I just don't get around to typing it out.

Anyway, there are two notable recent press mentions which I wanted to share with you.

The first is in We Be's 'Your Guide To The Top Five Restaurant Bloggers'. I was chuffed to be listed as one of the top five bloggers in New South Wales, even though the article kind of made me sound like a fatty! I was in good company with the other top four being Simon Food Favourites, Does My Bomb Look Big In This, Eat Drink Play and The Unbearable Lightness of Being Hungry.

And I'm still trying to get over how big the spread about my Lebanese food tours is, in this week's Parramatta Advertiser!

The cover page reads -

A stroll to Lebanon

The flavours, smells and sounds of Granville are enough to entice foodies from across the city to sample the suburb's unique sweet and savoury delights. This week, the Advertiser

let the experts lead the way on a tour of Sydney's up-and-coming Lebanese eat street.

To share the excitement, I'm celebrating by running a short giveaway on Facebook. The competition starts today and ends in two days, haha. For your chance to win one of two double passes (worth $160 each) to attend our next 'I Ate My Way Through Granville' food tour (on Saturday 12th March 2011, 10am - 1pm), simply hop over to the JENIUS page on Facebook and tell me what your favourite Lebanese dish is and why!

Happy days :)
