Earlier this year, I was approached to be one of eighteen writers for The Coffee Guide... Fast forward six or so months and here we are, with the published work itself!
Coffee is a funny thing isn't it? You can spend the same amount on a bad cup of coffee as you would on a good cup of coffee. I'd like to think that my contributions to this guide will save the wider community from ever drinking another bad cup.

It is also super exciting seeing my name in print!

Over 150 cafes were reviewed from Sydney Central to East, Inner West, Greater West, North and South. Wondering where the best coffee is? Well, you'll just have to grab a copy and see for yourself!
The Coffee Guide... Sydney 2011 (Published by Guide Enterprises)
RRP $19.95
Available at selected cafes and bookstores or buy online at www.thecoffeeguide.com.au

Would definitely be interested in where to find good coffee in Sydney. Melbourne can't put a foot wrong, Brisbane is reasonably crap and overpriced (except the Valley and west end) Canberra is hit and miss.
There's a Melbourne version of The Coffee Guide 2011 too, and it sounds like Brisbane & Canberra needs one!
Nice work with the contribution to this publication!
I'm curious to know how you involved with this book. Were you assigned different places to review? Ask for a list of recommendations?
Thanks Simon! We were assigned a list of places to review (but of course we also made recommendations throughout). Each place is cross-reviewed to ensure consistency.
oooh what a wonderful thing to be involved in!
Thanks Lisa! It was a fantastic experience :)
