"I just don't have time!". How often do you hear that phrase? Well, that seems to be my excuse for everything - baking, reading, exercising, replying to emails... everything.
So since moving into my new place, I have been determined to manage my time better and I've found a heap of recipes for instant deliciousness. Turning a few ingredients into something delectable has given me a wonderful sense of satisfaction each time I tick it off my to-do list.
No excuses, give this scrumptious tarte tatin recipe a go!

Recipe from No Time To Cook by Donna Hay
Serves 4
Ingredients
25g butter
¼ cup (60ml) maple syrup
1 apple, sliced
2 sheets (25cmx25cm) store-bought puff pastry, thawed
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C. Place the butter in an 18cm non-stick frying pan with an ovenproof handle. Place pan over medium heat until butter melts.
Add maple syrup, arrange the apple in overlapping slices over the base of the pan and cook for 5 - 6 minutes or until just soft.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Cut 2x19cm circles of pastry to fit inside the pan and place on top of each other on the apple. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden. Allow to stand for 2 minutes, then invert onto a plate.
Serve the tarte tatin warm or at room temperature.
