Top 50 Australian Food Blogs

I started this list back in February with the hope of updating it monthly... but here we are with the second update in June! I have tried my best to make this as accurate as possible and with the growing number of food blogs, please forgive me if I have left you (or one of your favourite blogs) out. Simply leave a comment below and let me know.

As mentioned in the first index, the score is calculated by averaging a blog's Technorati Authority with its Google PageRank.

Now let's celebrate all the eating, cooking and camera snapping that has gone into producing Australia's best food blogs.

Well done guys!

thanks for updating great blogs.. I also love to follow them to try (of course you aswell) Most of them are my favourite (the one that not means I didn't know it) :D

I also like http://simonfoodfavourites.blogspot.com/

I quite like: www.spreadmybutter.com !

Fantastic list, there are some really beautiful blogs on there!

Love the list - it's great to be able to find some new ones to read. It would be super great if there was a column for where each blog was based ie Syd, Melb... thou youi've done so much hard work on this already!

Thanks so much for doing this and going to all the effort Jen! :)

Interesting, thanks for bringing it up cuz just found my blog is not listed in technorati. Cant even claim my own blog... bleh.

Nice one Jen ;) I bet with all your gallivanting about the world you had better things to do than arimetics ;)

Thanks for doing this...much appreciated and a great effort on your behalf!

Surely hristie can't be pointing a finger for gallivanting!

I like the location idea too, but the work for the list already boggles the mind.

Thanks for putting this together - what a great reference point for tracking the local food blog movement.

Woah, this is awesome! Thanks for all your hard work in putting this list together.

i'm sorry but if this is SUPPOSED to be the top 50 food blogs, where are Sarah Cooks (http://www.sarah-cooks.blogspot.com) and Melbourne Gastronome (http://www.melbournegastronome.com)??

Hi Ja, thanks for your feedback! I also love reading Simon Food Favourites, and looking back at my grande Excel sheet, he's on #93.

Hey Jo, I like Spread My Butter too! She's #103 in my list. Perhaps it's time I grow this into the Top 100 Aussie Food Blogs list.

Thank you very much Megan :)

Hi Hol! Thanks so much for the suggestion. I might look into doing that in the next round up, as well as categorizing them into 'restaurant review' versus 'cooking'.

Thanks Lorraine! Congrats on coming in at #2! iBilly -yes, I have been meaning to remind you about your absence from Technorati! Although I'm pretty sure you don't have to claim your blog for it to crawl there -but it will definitely help.

Hi Christie! The arithmetics are all worth it in the end, it's so interesting to see the shift in positions and of course to discover new blogs :-P

Thanks Peter G ;)

Thanks Zoe! I'll see what I can do with the locations.

Glad you like it Suzie!

Hey lili, well done on your #42 position -love your work!

Hey Saskia, thanks for referring Sarah Cooks. I've had a look at the figures and it looks like a definite contender for the Top 50. I already have Melbourne Gastronome on the list at #67, but of course have this cropped at #50 for simplicity. Cheers for the feedback. Let me know if you think there are any other blogs I haven't heard of which deserve to be on the list!

whoa! i can't believe i made it into the top 50! when did this happen??! oh wait.. i haven't really.. that was my old retired url :P damnit!
