Day One - Japan / Hong Kong

On July 17th, Mum and I set abroad QANTAS to Hong Kong for an 11 day adventure in Hong Kong (Mong Kok, Kowloon) and Japan (Osaka, Kyoto, Mt Fuji and Tokyo).

Dinner at McDonalds in Mong Kok, Kowloon (chicken fun-tastic burger)

After a hectic night of shopping, at about 11pm, dinner was served at McDonalds. I ordered the Chicken Fun-tastic burger which was a savoury bun of shitake mushroom risotto, with a battered chicken breast fillet, mayonnaise, iceberg lettuce and shredded purple cabbage. This was available as a value meal with either fries, fresh pineapple pieces or a corn cup.

Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong at 8.30am

7am the next morning, we headed back to the airport for a flight to Kansai/Osaka, Japan. This photo was taken on a random street in Mong Kok.

Hi Ankit, are you referring to the airplane food, or Maccas in HK? I much preferred the latter... It would be awesome to see such fusion flavours in Oz :-)
